As a Co-Founder and Executive Director, Kofi is responsible for setting direction and aligning our programs towards the strategic goals of the organization. He leads, coordinates, and manages the efforts of about 12 core volunteers and working partners who help to serve the needs of our aspiring leaders. As part of his core duties, he manages the organization’s Leadership Development Training. For his day job, Kofi works as a Stock Programs Manager at Microsoft where he is involved in the administration of Microsoft's equity compensation; including Restricted Stock Units and Stock Options. His responsibilities include managing stock award vesting events, reporting, broker processes and global compliance obligations. He previously worked as an Audit Associate at KPMG Ghana, where he led the financial statements audit of clients in the Energy and Natural Resources industry and the Non-Profit Sector. Kofi holds an MBA degree from The Ohio State University (Fisher College of Business) where he was also a Scholar and a Fellow. He got his Bachelors’ degree in Business Administration from the University of Ghana Business School. He’s also an ACCA certified Chartered Accountant and holds a Six Sigma Green Belt. Kofi is passionate about democratizing leadership development in Africa – an idea that means normalizing and regularizing leadership conservations on the streets of Africa until it has become a lifestyle and a culture. In his spare time, he likes to go bowling with friends.
