🚀 Calling all SMEs and Entrepreneurs in Ghana! 🇬🇭
Are you ready to take your entrepreneurial journey to the next level? The UBC Sauder LIFT program, hosted at the Graced Life Leadership Center, is here to empower you this October to December.
🌟 As we all know, Ghana faces a significant need for entrepreneurship. High unemployment rates, especially among the youth, have become a pressing issue. According to the World Bank, in 2022, youth unemployment for those aged 15-25 accounted for approximately 7.2% of the country’s labor force.
📈 The numbers are alarming: an estimated 6 million people of employable age in Ghana are unemployed, with 4 million of them being female. The unemployment rate is highest among individuals with Certificate, Diploma, Higher National Diploma (HND), and tertiary qualifications, with over 300,000 young people entering the job market annually.
🔥 The solution we’ve found is to fuel entrepreneurship. In collaboration with the UBC Sauder LIFT Program, TGLC is launching an engaging and dynamic cohort of entrepreneurship training. This program is entirely free and aimed at addressing these pressing issues by nurturing entrepreneurial journeys.
