Linda Amoako Named TGLC Staff of the Year 2026
Our Administrative Assistant was honoured at Miliarium ’26 for the steady, careful work that keeps the Centre running.

TGLC Staff of the Year 2026 recognises excellent delivery of TGLC tasks and assignments, proactivity and demonstrated growth. Those words are drawn from a record we keep for every member of staff, all year.
How we run our team
Every staff member sets their own tasks each week, and we talk them through together at our weekly team meeting. At the end of each week, staff score themselves on how productive they were and on other areas of their work, and we review those scores the following week. Each month we also track the areas that support each person’s development. Every day, staff sign themselves in and out, and we look at that record together in our team meetings too.
From January to September 2026, Linda set herself 230 weekly tasks and marked 204 of them done.
That is 89 percent, against 85 percent across the whole team over the same months. She also filed every monthly development report that fell due in our 2026 financial year, 10 of 10.
Behind the numbers is work that often happens out of sight. She kept our cohort database up to date, so we can know our leaders and serve them well. She created a feedback form for the people and groups who use our facility, so the Centre keeps getting better. And after 29 Connect, she called participants with a colleague, thanking them for coming and sharing our upcoming programmes.
Growing as a leader herself
On the same day, Linda received her certificate of completion for the Leadership Development Training (LDT), our one-year leadership programme. She serves the leaders we raise, and she is one of them.
Congratulations, Linda, and thank you for the care you bring to our work. Your example lifts every one of us.
